Being an asshole is our First Amendment right, even at the funeral of members of the armed services.
The decision came from a case in Kansas where religious fucking wackos were holding up signs like "Gos Hates Fags" and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers" because they think that dead soldiers are god saying America is too tolerant of gays or something.

Chief Justice Roberts said in the decision that the way to go was not to punish "harmful speech" but rather create laws to make "buffer zones" around funerals and shit. I guess this would mean the religious fuckers have to stand far away from the funeral, I guess that works. Full story at the NY Times.
Alright so my freedom of speech stance is kind of hypocritical and I know it. But hear me out. I believe in freedom of speech. I think we should be able to say whatever we want about the government, president, whoever. But shit like this just to me falls into like Nazi-type shit. Why should being a Nazi be outlawed? Because they fucking almost took over the world and killed like 10million Jews. Yeah, that seems fair, sorry Skinheads, Hitler ruined it for you.
It's the same thing here. If you are a religious retard who thinks dead soldiers are god's way of punishing America for tolerating fags, and want to voice your opinion at these soldiers' funerals, I think you should be exempted from legal protection as long as you are being a fucker. The people at the funeral should be legally allowed to walk up to you, shove your signpost up your ass, and kick the shit out of you.
And hiding behind religion is bullshit. In the constitution we are given freedom OF religion, well it should also work the other way, us smart people should have freedom FROM religion. Believe what you want, but keep that shit to yourself. Trying to convert people by being an asshole at a funeral, I'm sure that's what jesus would have wanted you fucking cocksucking morons.
