The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to surrender Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom in a trade for New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul, sources tell ESPN.com's Marc Stein.
Sources close to the process tell Stein that the Houston Rockets remain part of the talks and are trying to complete a deal that would send Gasol in Houston and the Rockets' Luis Scola, Kevin Martin and Goran Dragic to New Orleans along with Odom.
Leave it to the fucking Lakers to go after Chris Paul. I'll say it right now, Chris Paul is so over-rated it isn't even funny. Other teams can ride on one or two sick players and be pretty good. Paul isn't the type of point guard who elevates his teammates.

That said, ditching Pau Gasol is a smart fucking move. Dude is a big old bitch and can't hang with any centers that actually body up in the paint. Smart move getting rid of that euro trash LA.
