Cops "Knock & Talk" with Chris Johnson.

Chris Johnson is the star running back for the Tennessee Titans. Haven't heard of him? Crawl out from under the rock you have been living in and get your NFL on. TMZ has confirmed that police came to Johnson's place because of a high amount of car traffic in and out of his house.

TMZ has confirmed ... the Orlando Police Department got an anonymous "non-specific" tip about  high-end cars entering and exiting Johnson's condo complex yesterday afternoon.

We're told cops performed a "knock and talk" at Johnson's Florida residence to follow up on the tip. When cops arrived to Johnson's home, he was "cooperative" and "cordial" -- and in the middle of a shoot for a TV project.

Law enforcement tells us they checked out the scene -- and determined there was absolutely nothing illegal about the situation ... and left without incident.

Moments after cops walked out the door, Johnson tweeted, "Y did the police just walk in my condo saying they think it's drug activity because it's alot of traffic but it was the MTV camera crew."

He added, "Hard being young, black and rich."

Five hundred bucks says the anonymous tip was a stuffy old white dude next door. Oh jesus the black guy next door has people coming in and out of the house, must be a crack deal. Ester call the 5-0! Normally I don't buy into this whole racist guy stuff too much, but this is kind of ridiculous. I don't blame the cops for going if they got a call, but you know the neighbor was just like oh sure I'll call the cops. Just trying to fuck with the rich black dude next door.

Don't you need a permit for film crews and shit? I mean I'm sure MTV had to give someone the heads up to film at Johnson's house. So the fucking cops were either just hoping he was high off his ass so they could arrest him, or trying to get in the shot. You know they were filming MTV Cribs, and Cribs doesn't half-ass their shoots.
