The Posada/Ortiz Coalition

Well the Yankees latest bullshit drama is the Jorge Posada "My Back Was Stiff And I'm Batting 9th So I Can't Play". That's the official title. Now if you aren't a baseball fan what happened was Jorge Posada, long-time Yankee took a Saturday off. Because he didn't like batting ninth. Stupid, I know.

Today he apologized for acting like a child.



So then Derek Jeter, legendary Yankee, comes out and supports Jorge. David Ortiz also voiced his support. Of course Papi does the same thing, make a fat paycheck off being a good player in the past, so he's backing up a fellow washed-up vet making a nice check.

This is what I hate about the Yankees and the Red Sox. They keep veteran players out of respect for their "legacy". The Sox are doing it with Papi, the Yanks with Jeter and Posada.

I mean look at Jorge's stats Yankees fans. Batting .165 with 6 homers. And he's making 13 mil. Think about that. I know you Yankee people love him but I mean your DH is batting .165. I don't know much about baseball, but I know you are overpaying for a washed-up fossil. The stats don't lie.

So don't bitch about batting 9th Jorge. Hit the fucking ball and work your way back up. Don't pussy out of the game like a bitch. Just fight through like you have the last 17 years man. Yanks, take the hint, ditch the diva older generation and get new young dudes. Old fucks get whiney and become a pain in the ass.

Plus you guys got swept by the Sox. There's always that.
