We are Poor as Fuck

 So just in case you didn't know, the US Census Bureau released some statistics showing how poor Americans are. And we are all fucking poor.

WASHINGTON -- Even though the Great Recession technically ended in 2009, incomes fell, poverty rose and the number of Americans without health insurance jumped again in 2010, the federal government announced Tuesday.

The nation's poverty rate increased to 15.1 percent in 2010, up from 14.3 percent in 2009 and the highest level since 1993, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's annual Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage report for 2010. An additional 2.6 million people landed in poverty last year, bringing the total to 46.2 million -- the highest number since the government started tracking poverty in the 1950s. 

Well thank you motherfucking Census Bureau. Talk about a good way to cut government expenses. Cut the fucking census bureau. Apparently all they do is find out how many people in poverty there are in the US. Really motherfucking useful guys.

Soon we'll all be like this guy. Funny and broke, oh wait...

Anyway, how fucking ridiculous are these stats? 15% of people are in poverty in this country? That is really pathetic. I think it's much more reliable than unemployment stats because it includes people who are working and STILL under the poverty mark. That is embarrassing for us as a nation. My guess is in 18 months we will all be hobos.
