A forgetful Green Beret told authorities he had no idea there were explosives in his bag when he tried to board a plane in Texas, a criminal complaint says.
Trey Scott Atwater was arrested Saturday at Midland International Airport after Transportation Security Administration agents found two blocks of C-4 explosives in his carry-on, officials said.
The 30-year-old specialist first class and demolitions expert with the Army's 7th Special Forces Group, who is based at Fort Bragg, N.C., told the FBI he had "no recollection of there being any C-4" in his luggage, according to court documents obtained by CNN on Tuesday.
Atwater told the feds he had taken the bag when he left Afghanistan, then used it as his carry-on when he traveled to Midland, just northeast of Odessa, the documents said. He was visiting family and packed gifts in the bag meant for children.

Forgetting that you packed the motherfucking c-4 with the kid's presents man, you either are the dumbest motherfucker ever or your lying skills are awful.
