On Friday, the the non-profit group in charge of internet addresses approved a movement to add the internet domain ".xxx" to a list of "generic top level domains" – similar to those those that end in .com, .net or .edu.
Apparently everyone is flipping out about how this ".xxx" domain is going to cause censorship or some bullshit. I just think it makes sense. Your porn sites end in ".xxx" so you know they are porn. And the mom with 5-year-old kids can use her Net Nazi software to block domains that end in .xxx. What doesn't make sense here? IT's like arguing that the ".edu" domains allow education to be censored or some bullshit.

Seems to me like a fucking win-win, but I guess porn is so controversial that no matter what the story is about, people gotta bitch about something.
