Damn, don't ever let anyone tell you that chicks can't fight. I mean look at that shit around 34 seconds. Pink chick just grabs the other one by her weave and starts hammer-punching her dome. Badass.
Then that chick in the black gets whooped by ANOTHER girl. This shit is priceless.
Weave-pulling, clothes flying, fists knockin', I love chick fights.

Landmark court decision for women
From Newser:
Let the punishment fit the crime? A Florida man who appeared in court yesterday on a domestic violence charge was ordered by the judge to ... take his wife on a date. The charge apparently grew out of an argument Joseph Bray had with his wife—whose birthday he failed to acknowledge on Monday.
According to the arrest report, Bray shoved his wife onto the couch, held her neck, and readied himself for a punch, but didn't actually hit her. At yesterday's hearing, she told Judge Jay Hurley she was neither hurt nor in fear.
Because of that, and because Bray had no priors, the judge ordered what the Sun-Sentinel calls "whimsical conditions." Hurley asked the woman what she liked to do and where she liked to eat, and her answer became her hubby's punishment.
"He’s going to stop by somewhere and he’s going to get some flowers, and then he’s going to go home, pick up his wife, get dressed, take her to Red Lobster," said Hurley. "And then after they have Red Lobster, they’re going to go bowling." They were also ordered to begin marriage counseling. Explained Hurley of his decision, "The court would not normally do that if the court felt there was some violence but this is very, very minor and the court felt that that was a better resolution than other alternatives."
This is a great case for women. Smack your wife around, buy her dinner. That seems pretty fair. And you know she said some upscale-ass restaurant like Red Lobster or something. Just sat down ordered a pint and two lobsters and watched her hubby cry the entire time. Don't hit your women dudes or else you'll be shelling out the cash for a nice dinner. And who wants to do that?

Bacon Shake?
From Newser:
When it comes to the battle for the most indulgent, artery-clogging American fast food treat, the list of contenders is a long one. And now, a new entrant: Jack in the Box has begun offering a limited-edition Bacon Shake. And, in true fast-food-isn't-just-like-real-food fashion, there's actually not any bacon in it. So what is in a 24-ounce serving, besides 1,081 calories?
Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, a maraschino cherry and "bacon-flavored syrup," reports Yahoo, which points to the experience of a poor SFist blogger who tried it. Brock Keeling's verdict? "Wow. That was horrific." Dubbing it a "tummy error," he calls it "aggressively bad," and describes the taste as "a heavy, lingering bland with a touch of smoke that doesn't go away."
Where the fuck is the nearest Jack in the Box? I want to try this abortion of taste. I don't give a fuck if some dude calls it shitty. I'm a staunch believer in bacon being added to any food at all making that food better. Try and disprove it. Too bad there isn't a Jack in the Box for like 200 miles or else I'd already be shitting a slab of ice cream and bacon flavored stuff. Delicious.

Cops getting drones, sweet
From Newser:
Drones aren't just for Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, or Somalia anymore—they're coming to the good old US of A. The Senate sent a bill to President Obama yesterday that would require the Federal Aviation Administration to come up with rules to safely regulate domestic drones, USA Today reports.
Civilian demand is already starting to heat up for various flying robots, which now come in a host of shapes and sizes, are surprisingly cost effective, and would occupy the same airspace as passenger planes.
A Mesa County, Colo., sheriff's department, for instance, already has FAA permission to use a 2-pound helicopter drone to take pictures of crime scenes. The drone costs roughly $36,000—less than a new squad car. Analysts expect the civilian drone market to hit $11.3 billion over the next decade, which has pilots and others worried about safety—especially after instances like an August crash in Afghanistan involving a drone and a C-130 cargo plane. "It's about coming up with a plan where everybody can get along," says a professor helping to draft the new regulations. "Nobody wants to cause an accident."
Fan-fucking-tastic. Police with drones. So long evading police.
I think it's interesting that in this time of fear about terrorists getting nukes we are about to start making drones for everybody out here. I mean if I were a terrorist wouldn't a drone be the way to go to deliver a bomb or something? It's unmanned and apparently cheap.
Anyway I don't really give a fuck either way but just keep in mind that next time you are running for the cops, it's hard as fuck to outsmart a drone. These things blow up Afghans by the dozen.
And the real losers here are air-traffic controllers. Welcome to the most stressful job ever and now toss in like 5,000 drones running all over the place plus the normal air traffic. Sounds fucked to me.
